Dr Newhouse and Tara were the kindest, most thoughtful healthcare professionals I've ever met. I absolutely love the new clinic! its so beautiful and the app is so user friendly. Having easy access to all diagnostics, lab work, and prescription info is a game changer. I can see my pet's full medical record anytime. It's literally better than any human health care system I've used. Unfortunately, my senior kitty passed away due to chronic illness and every Modern Animal staff I interacted with was so compassionate. They prioritized her always (quick appointments, doing procedures in-room with me, exploring all alternatives to provide the best care for her). Despite having gone to several other vets in the past, none had diagnosed or treated her illness properly or with the urgency needed. It's unfortunate we only found our way to Dr Newhouse and Modern Animal at the very end of her road. When she passed they sent the most amazing flowers to my home with a condolences card. I am so thankful for them, and will definitely use Modern Animal again if I have another pet in the future.

My senior Cane Corso is highly fearful and reactive(well behaved but not friendly). I’m truly fortunate to have finally found this place since my dog is severely anxious with veterinarian appointments. This place and staff took amazing precautions to assure her emotional well being. They took the time and patience to make her feel comfortable in order to do all her work up/tests. In the past prior vets would have me hold her down and restrain her in order for her vaccines causing her extra distress and distrusts. Or some prior vets would just do the basic and not more since she’s “too aggressive” hence why I only would take her for emergencies and vaccinations. Now she’s finally being seen by great staff and they’re doing absolutely everything for her well being.

First visit with this office and absolutely loved it! Such a welcoming staff and office, clean, well organized, clear pricing, clear instructions, and great care! I loved that they have an app that keeps my dogs records, makes it easy to schedule appointments, and makes taking care of my new puppy that much easier.

better experience than my previous vet. Modern animal has transparent pricing and a 24/7 care chat which was so helpful when i first got my puppy! I always feel very welcomed and my dog likes coming here for all the pets and treats.

Modern Animal was fantastic. Scheduling appointments was super easy and convenient and I was able to get in quickly which was important. The location is perfect and the place was really nice inside. I was taken back to a clean/private room and the entire staff was wonderful and caring. The pricing was upfront, the communication was excellent.

The staff there were all so kind! I also appreciated the transparency during my visit with Dr. Chrapko, like some vaccines not being needed for low-risk cats (like mine) and I was never pressured into procedures or anything that I didn't want to do. I also got a first visit goodie bag, which I wasn't expecting. I thought that was a nice touch and very thoughtful. It's a bit of a drive for me, but I feel reassured they only want the best for your furry companions and wouldn't force anything medically unnecessary. For sure I'll come back for any medical care or check ups my cats need.

Updating my previous review. MA PA has increased their staffing, with 5 full time vets. I was able to make an appointment yesterday for this morning, which I have never been able to do in the past. We have always liked the practice model, the employees, the care, and the environment. Now that they are staffed for reasonable access, I can happily give them 5 stars.

I took my cat to see Dr. Natalie Milewski and I’m so grateful to have found her. Our 18-month-old cat was diagnosed with a symptomatic congenital heart defect, and learning that his time is limited has been heartbreaking. Dr. Milewski was incredibly thorough, compassionate, and realistic. She explained our options clearly, helped us weigh the pros and cons of diagnostics and comfort-focused treatments, and made sure we felt supported through a really difficult situation. It brings me peace knowing we have a vet who will help us make thoughtful, caring decisions for our cat. The staff is kind and knowledgeable, the app makes scheduling, messaging, and medication management easy, and pricing is very reasonable for the Bay Area. I’m truly thankful to have found Dr Milewski and her veterinary team. Highly recommend.

My experience was excellent from start to finish. Dr Fuentes was superb and my pup was calm and relaxed the entire visit. This was my best veterinary visit ever over many years, many animals and many Veterinarians!! Thank you Modern Animal Veterinary Clinic

Dr. Newhouse and vet technician Alara were absolutely outstanding. Dr. Newhouse was thorough, knowledgeable, and took the time to answer all of my questions with patience and clarity. I felt genuinely heard, supported, and never rushed during the visit. The entire Modern Animal experience gave me so much peace of mind, and I’m completely confident that I made the right choice for Nacho’s care. I’m so grateful to have found such a compassionate and professional team.
